Barbara decorated this lovely little pencil holder for me! Isnt it goregous? thanks Barbara, I love it!! Clever girl used alcohol ink on my blue Heidi Swapp plastic letters to turn them green.

We now carry a range of wooden products. These are locally made and very reasonably priced.   More on the way, including MUM and DAD. They are self standing and would make a lovely gift.

Plus there is also this gorgeous little handbag.

I am in the middle of doing a sample of the handbag, and have completed the word IMAGINE which I shall take of pic of and share shortly.

My DD, who is not a scrapper, made this lovely photo frame for a friend of hers. She used a Kaiser wood flourish and put maya rd plastic flowers around the top right hand corner in colors that matched the paper. These were adhered with dimensional magic. Her friend loved the frame, and who can blame her?

This cute money box was made with a kit by the lovely Barbara using Kaisercraft papers.  They sold out really quickly but I will pick up more next week.

Look at the cute little babushkas! They were made by Nancy and Barbara using the Kaisercraft wooden babushka album and the matching papers.  You can make them into an album by using a ring and then putting photos on the back, or cut out the face of the babushka and add in your own photo. Anyway, they will be gorgeous.

I also want to say Happy Birthday to my Dad for today!

You can bring along your own embellishments (a great way to use your stash) or buy them on the day. You save on our class kits, they are below retail price. 2nd April: Krischelle will teach a layout.

Krischelle is the Queen of Scraplifting and Sketches. The first layout Krischelle will be teaching is based on a layout she saw in a magazine. Come along to class and Krischelle will show you how to scraplift this and other layouts and make them your own. Krischelle will be concentrating her classes around these themes, so you can learn plenty by taking one of Krischelle's classes.

Barbara has been at it again, putting her considerable talents to use. Here she has designed these gorgeous little gift cards using the 3Bugs paper Snips N Snails range. Simply gorgeous.

Today I played with my new toy, my Klik-n-kut, aka Maxx.  It took a while and some head scratching to get the blade to cut -thanks Barabara for helping me with that one.

Anyway, I have made a number of things to test it out. They are pretty simple but thought I would share with you.

These were from images that came with the machine. 

Arent they lovely. I am quite impressed with the machine so far, but I have lots more to learn.

Our sale last year was a great success, with customers picking up fantastic bargains, so we are doing it again. Last year's sidewalk sale ended up going to the back room due to the torrential downpour, so this year we are staying in the back room!   Details are below. Don't miss out on grabbing a bargain. We have to make room for new stock, so it all must go!

I went to the trade show tonight and came home with a Klic-n-kut.  I havent open the box yet, will do so tomorrow at the shop, but I was pretty impressed with the demo.

I saw lots of people there tonight, and lots of lovely new stuff coming out of CHA.

The wooden money boxes I ordered are in and I shall pick them up on Monday. These will make a great gift for kids. I will do a sample and load it up soon.

My daughter actually did her first ever scrap layout the other day. Its a pic of me and my mum taken years ago (when I was much younger) .

Happy International Womens Day!

Today I ran in the IWD Fun Run, it was 5km and was great. I am very pleased because I beat my personal best. Luckily the weather was a bit kinder today and it wasnt too hot to run.

I also want to share with you the great eggs we made. My DD did all the hard work and we decorated them using alcohol inks. You can see them in front window of the shop. They were really good fun to make.
